Priority is given to programs that:
- Empower women and girls to make positive decisions
- Promote healthy relationships and preventing domestic violence
- Advance family economic security
- Support access to women's health, mental health and reproductive health services
- Support public policy, advocacy and leadership to promote equity
- Help New London women, ages 62 and older, with limited incomes to remain in their homes (Southeast Area Fund only)
Additional preference is given to programs that demonstrate collaboration among service providers.

Maximum request depends on geographic region.
- Northeast Area
- Eligible applicants may submit grant requests of up to $5,000.
- Grants must be for the benefit of women and girls in Brooklyn, Canterbury, Eastford, Hampton, Killingly, Plainfield, Pomfret, Putnam, Sterling, Thompson and Woodstock.
- Norwich Area
- Eligible applicants may submit grants requests of up to $10,000
- Grants must be for the benefit of women and girls in Norwich, Bozrah, Colchester, Franklin, Griswold, Lebanon, Lisbon, Preston, Sprague and Voluntown.
- Southeast Area
- Eligible applicants may submit grant requests of up to $15,000.
- Grants must be for the benefit of women and girls in East Lyme, Groton, Ledyard, Lyme, Montville, New London, North Stonington, Old Lyme, Salem, Stonington and Waterford.
- Windham Area
- Eligible applicants may submit grant requests of up to $10,000.
- Grants must be for the benefit of women and girls in Ashford, Chaplin, Columbia, Coventry, Mansfield, Scotland, Stafford, Union, Willington and Windham/Willimantic.
Deadlines and notifications
- The 2024 application is closed.
- The 2025 application will open in late August and close October 1.
